Salzburg, Austria Trip 2024

Music Celebrations International, the Austrian National Tourist Office and the Salzburg Board, is pleased to invite the Arts Chorale of Winchester to perform in the twelfth-annual SALZBURG CHORAL FESETIVAL, JUBILATE MOZART!  June 26-30, 2024, to be held in Salzburg, Austria under the direction of Dr. Terry Crull, Director of Choral Activities at Fort Hays State University, and Professor Janos Czifra.

Our choir will join other select choruses in this spectacular festival culminating in a performance of Mozart’s Coronation Mass, K. 317, with accompaniment by the Orchester Der Salzburger Dommusik and Austrian soloists under the direction of Herr Czifra, and selected music to be directed by Dr. Copley.

We are pleased to announce that the Arts Chorale of Winchester has accepted this special invitation to be a part of the Salzburg Choral Festival.  Several members of our choir will be participating in this wonderful opportunity to share our talent and voices for this festival.

Along with this opportunity to go to Austria for this concert, there are some huge financial obligations that come with such an event for us to be involved.  The average cost for each singer to participate is about $4,000.

To help us offset some of those costs for some of our singers, we will be hosting several fundraisers over the next year.  Please take the time to attend one of our fundraising events.  If you cannot attend any of these events but would like to make a donation to go toward the trip, you may do so.  Your generosity lets us to continue our promoting of choral music beyond our community.
